Under the sister-school partnership scheme with Daegu International School (DIS), Korea, AAIA and DIS organized the student exchange collaboratively, students from both schools got the chance to immerse themselves in a different culture, get new perspectives, and make lifelong connections.
During the visit to Daegu, Korea from March 31 to April 7, students explored the E-world theme park, visited the culture village and wore hanbok, and watched the baseball games which is an integral part of Korean culture.
DIS students came to Taiwan from April 8 to 13 and experienced the beauty of Formosa. All of them joined a variety of activities, including visiting famous landmarks, Taipei 101 and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and the tourist spots, Dadaocheng and Ximending, and trying the local food, spicy hotpot, and bubble tea. Most importantly, joined the cultural activities, they learned calligraphy and diabolo during lessons (thanks to G6 Ray Lin, Ryan Huang, and G7 Caden Lee for their enthusiastic teaching).
It was an incredible enriching experience that students navigated the cultural differences, built up friendships across borders, and created unforgettable memories.
Special thanks for all the effort and assistance provided by the Daegu International School!
