The AP Studio Art students had their first portfolio showcase! Each student prepared an artist statement and presented 6-7 pieces that they have completed for AP College board submission 2022. Guests, students, and faculty were invited to view the exhibition and talk to each student about their process, mediums, and portfolio topic.
Grade 8 Art students are working on their pop art-inspired, graffiti-style self-portraits. They digitally manipulated their portraits into reduced layers of value, created a stencil for each layer, and then use spray paint to create their final artwork.
