Students from AESS (Academic Excellence and Support Services) displayed their immense commitment to community service. They contacted a partner school, prepared lesson plans to deliver and successfully engaged elementary school students in the first of a series of fun English lessons. Faculty from the cooperating school were extremely pleased and impressed with how our students handled everything from planning, coordinating, to seamlessly teaching the English class.
It is a true testament to our belief that we have some truly amazing, talented and wonderful future leaders. They will continue their fabulous work on Friday afternoons teaching English to elementary school children. Our cooperating school looks forward to a long term relationship that will be mutually beneficial. It’s really a pleasure to see our kids out there in the community being positive role models to younger children. We are so proud of them and will continue to support them in their endeavors.
AESS社團(學術成就與支援服務)的學生們於九月初成功的完成了他們第一次的社區志工服務。學生們親自聯繫了合作學校、制定了教學計劃，並對國小學生進行一系列有趣英文課程教學。合作學校的老師們對AAIA學生從計劃、協調到授課的一切過程印象深刻。
學生們的表現完美展現出AAIA的教學目標，並期待這些才華橫溢且出色的未來領導者們能夠將本活動發揚光大。學生們將不定期於周五持續為國小生們上英語的計劃，也期許能與合作學校建立長期互惠互利的關係。對於AAIA學生能在社區中為年幼的孩子樹立榜樣倍感驕傲，並會在這條道路上持續給予他們支持。
