On Friday (3/24) and Saturday (3/25), 21 AAIA students went to Kaohsiung to compete in the Taiwan round of the World Scholar’s Cup. Across these two days, our students competed in four different events: Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge (test), and Scholar’s Bowl (quiz bowl). For each challenge, the students had to use their critical thinking and reasoning skills to debate, write, and come up with answers related to history, social studies, science & technology, art & music, literature & media, and pop culture.
