For the third straight year, AAIA sent a delegation to the World Scholar’s Cup regional round at Kaohsiung American School. With 35 members attending, World Scholar’s Cup is AAIA’s largest club representing 20% of the student body. This year, eleven teams from grades 6 through 12 competed in essay writing, debate, and academic tests. With over 400 scholars at this years round, AAIA is proud to have dozens of silver and gold medal winners and 17th in science, 14th in art, 11th place in history, 6th in social studies, 3rd place debate team, 10th and 1st place writers and 1st place writing team. Congratulations to all of AAIA’s teams for qualifying for the Manila global round in September, with the Tournament of Champions to follow in November at Yale University.
AAIA連續第三年派出代表隊參加高雄美國學校的世界學者杯區域賽。身為AAIA最大的社團，本次世界學者杯賽事共有35名成員參與，佔學生總數的20％。今年，幅員6至12年級的11支AAIA隊伍參加了論文寫作、辯論和學術項目競賽並在400多名參賽者中脫穎而出，贏得了數十面銀牌和金牌及科學排名第17、藝術排名第14名、歷史排名第11名、社會研究排名第6名、辯論隊第3名、個人寫作第10名和第1名及寫作團隊第一名的佳績。恭賀AAIA學者杯代表隊全員成功晉級並將於9月份參加馬尼拉的全球巡迴賽，而總冠軍賽也將接續於11月份在耶魯大學舉行。
