For the third straight year, AAIA sent a delegation to the World Scholar’s Cup regional round at Kaohsiung American School. With 35 members attending, World Scholar’s Cup is AAIA’s largest club representing 20% of the student body. This year, eleven teams from grades 6 through 12 competed in essay writing, debate, and academic tests. With over 400 scholars at this years round, AAIA is proud to have dozens of silver and gold medal winners and 17th in science, 14th in art, 11th place in history, 6th in social studies, 3rd place debate team, 10th and 1st place writers and 1st place writing team. Congratulations to all of AAIA’s teams for qualifying for the Manila global round in September, with the Tournament of Champions to follow in November at Yale University.
