Lions are recognized internationally for their outstanding performance, G12 Tim Chao led the Taiwan team, GEMS Taiwan, whose members are from different Taiwan high schools, joined The International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition (iGEM) held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and won 3 worldwide prizes, Top 10 high school, gold medal and Best iGEMers Prize.
