Double celebration—last Friday (4/25) was Spanish Day and the birthday bash for our awesome May to July birthday stars! This time, our classic AAIA birthday party got a fun twist with a splash of Spanish flair. As students walked onto campus, they were greeted with cheerful “¡Hola!”s from the principal and teachers, setting the tone for a fiesta-filled day.
The morning announcements came with a Spanish twist too, showing off our students’ amazing language skills. At lunch, everyone got to snack on crunchy chips and zesty salsa—because what better way to taste Spanish culture than through food?
Of course, our birthday students were treated like VIPs, as always, with special gifts, drinks, and cake. But the fun didn’t stop there—they also got to whack a piñata! With big smiles and even bigger swings, they cracked open the colorful candy-filled creation, sending sweets flying and laughter echoing.
Middle schoolers joined the fun by crafting Papel Picado, beautiful traditional Mexican decorations that added even more color and cheer to our day.
The whole campus was buzzing with festive vibes, and we hope it’s a celebration our students won’t soon forget.
Big happy birthday shoutout to all our May to July stars—¡Feliz cumpleaños!
