Service-learning Activity: “Save the Childhood Movement”

During this winter break, G9 Lions Natsuki Onuma joined the project of “Save the Childhood Movement” held by Waker (社團法人台灣微客公益行動協會) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from February 8th to 15th.  Natsuki hopes to share her unforgettable service-learning experience with us. She interacted with the locals and experienced Mogols’ daily life with traditional food and leisure activities. They accompanied and had fun with local children. They even had a chance to meet the representatives of the Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar, Wang Kai-you. She has learned through this activity was “Happiness is simplicity”. We are so proud that Lions continuously showcased their sense of global citizenship and the ability of cultural competence.
