[Seeds of Science Sprouting: A Day of Wonder at NTSEC] 🧬✨

As sunlight streams through the glass facade of the National Taiwan Science Education Center, our teacher Mr. Dawson leads a group of G7 students into a world of discovery. This field trip was designed to take learning beyond the classroom walls, allowing students to witness the vitality behind the formulas in their textbooks.

The Purpose of the Journey: The teacher’s goal was to transform students from “spectators” into “active participants.” By engaging with the exhibits, children learn to ask meaningful questions and develop resilience through trial and error. It isn’t just about transferring knowledge; it’s a lesson in courage and logical thinking.

Highlights of the Exploration:

🛠️ 3F Tinkering Workshop: There are no standard answers here. Under the teacher’s guidance, students immerse themselves in tools and components, experiencing the logic of engineering firsthand.

🚲 5F Square-Wheeled Bicycle: When the students exclaim, “A square wheel can actually move!” the seeds of scientific wonder are sown. Breaking conventional thinking is perhaps the most valuable lesson of the day.

Gravity? Never heard of her. 🎈 Having a blast experimenting with vertical wind tunnels today! Who knew learning about air pressure could be this much fun?

Watching these future scientists marvel at the world around them, we know that the most profound learning often begins right where the textbook ends.
