The Grade 7 students have been working on making 3D textures and models of mythical beasts, based on their research of other cultures and ancient history, and in connection with the Harry Potter franchise “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. The project deadline overlapped perfectly with the release of the second film and, due to the hard work and effort they put in, earned them a field trip!
These mythical beasts they created will be used in cross curricular activities with Grade 6, as a field guide to rare species, and as the basis for story books written and presented by the Grade 9 students.
七年級的學生們依據對異國文化和古代歷史的資料蒐集和哈利波特系列電影"怪獸與牠們的產地"製作了3D神話怪獸模型。由於本次專題時間恰巧與電影續集上映日期重疊，為了獎勵學生，AAIA特地安排了觀賞"怪獸與葛林戴華德的罪行"此部續集電影的校外行程。
本次專題創作的神話怪獸也將結合六年級的稀有物種課程及做為九年級撰寫虛構故事角色原形。
