AAIA values students’ mental health. To improve the awareness of possible traumatic reactions from stressful life events, such as peer conflicts and family issues, AAIA invited a licensed psychotherapist, Lillian Chen (M.S., ULC, MFT), to hold a seminar for G6-8 students on the topic of Trauma Drama for Cool Teens! on 8th March (Wednesday).
Mrs. Chen introduced the concept of traumatic reactions and suggested ways to cope and respond to traumatic events. Mrs. Chen prepared slides about different life scenarios and guided students to explore possible traumatic reactions under such situations.
