Tonight marks the first full moon of the year and the magical Lantern Festival! People celebrate by admiring beautiful lantern displays, enjoying delicious tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls), and wishing for a year filled with happiness and luck.
Eating tangyuan symbolizes unity and completeness. To keep the tradition alive, students and teachers enjoyed warm, delicious tangyuan during lunchtime. Nothing beats the joy of good food and great company!
