AAIA is delighted to congratulate Ms. Sharon Gillette, for her contribution to Building a More Perfect Union, a new collection of lesson plans and essays in commemoration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
Ms. Gillette is one of only 15 teachers to contribute to the project in support of the NEH’s special initiative to advance civic education and the study of U.S. history and culture in preparation for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
AAIA is very proud of Ms. Gillette’s scholastic work and honored to have her as one of our teaching faculty.
