Faculty representative for International Admission from California College of the Arts, Mr. Christopher Loomis, visited AAIA and delivered an informative presentation on April 12th, 2022. Mr. Loomis not only presented students with detailed information about the school but also explained how San Francisco as a city has helped shaped the way California College of the Arts developed. Students are amazed by the 3D printed fabric and the “Seabird Nest” program where the school combines high technology with community care, all with an artistic flair.
All in all, the visit was equally eye-opening and inspirational to our Art students, who gained valuable insight into CCA and how to better prepare their art portfolios, as well as the rest of the students who beheld how interdependent different disciplines can be.
