AAIA Lions have continually collaborated with charity organizations, showcasing the high character of integrity, respect, and a strong sense of responsibility.
G11 students, Sarina Tsai and Emirate Chen organized charity activities from April to June that collaborated with Help the Elderly Organization (HEO), a non-profit volunteer organization that hosts events to bond with elders and raise awareness of issues faced by the elderly population. Together with G10 Paige Ho, Andrea Chen, Jamie Hsu, Warren Lai, and G11 Aryana Yu, Melody Lee, and Karin Mukai, Lions visited Yang Ming Retirement Place, interacted with the elderly, and taught them calligraphy, origami folding, making desert, and how to write pen pal letters in English. Lions have spent meaningful hours with the elderly and learned much during group and peer collaboration.
