From October 31 (Thursday) to November 5 (Tuesday), G7 Alvin Wang represented Taiwan in the BARÇA Academy APAC CUP 2024, held in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Alvin’s team, U13 BA TAIPEI GRANA, triumphed as the champions of the U13 Silver Cup. This marks the first time a Taiwanese football team has secured first place in an international competition!
This tournament brought together elite players from seven countries, including Spain, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, Australia, Taiwan, and regions across Japan such as Nara, Hiroshima, Aichi, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. The Taiwan representative team was composed of elite Taiwanese players personally selected by a coach from FC Barcelona in Spain. Congratulations to the Taiwan team for their outstanding victory! The school is immensely proud of Alvin’s achievement.
