On Friday (1/14) and Monday (1/17), AAIA welcomed two new groups of local English teachers from across Northern Taiwan to learn about and experience American schools. The teachers came as part of an advanced teacher training program facilitated by Fulbright Taiwan and the Ministry of Education. Their visit began with an introduction to AAIA, as well as a tour around our campus. The teachers then had the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of teachers who have experienced teaching in both local and American/international styled schools.
Afterward, the visiting teachers sat in and observed our Middle School classes to see how the teaching and classroom dynamic compares and contrasts with their own. We hope that the teachers enjoyed their time at AAIA and were able to learn something new from our teachers and students!
