On February 22nd, the AAIA Junior Varsity Basketball Team traveled to the Morrison Taichung Campus to compete in the 2024-2025 TISSA Tournament, and we are incredibly proud to announce that they brought home the Silver Medal!
A huge congratulations to our incredible athletes for their outstanding performances! Danny Hsiung led the team with an impressive 26 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Andrew Song made a huge impact on both ends of the court, scoring 21 points and pulling down a phenomenal 31 rebounds. Shawn Wan and Tony Su both contributed 22 points each in the tournament, with Shawn also grabbing 18 rebounds and Tony adding 14 rebounds. Brian Hsu was on fire from beyond the arc, nailing four 3-pointers in one game with an outstanding 4-5 shooting performance. Jasper Lin added 12 points, including 1 three-pointer and 4 field goals. Brian Wang chipped in 5 points with some key plays. On the defensive side, Anderson Chen and Connor Wang provided incredible defensive effort, locking down opponents and helping the team stay strong throughout the tournament.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the AAIA Lions who traveled to Taichung to support the team, and to all the parents for their unwavering encouragement and support. Your dedication made this achievement possible!
