AAIA’s first high school winter dance was held on March 27th. Look at our dazzling lions! The AAIA Student Council, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, has worked hard in making this event possible. Here is a message from the student council:
The 2021 14 Karat Gold Dance was the first-ever school dance hosted at AAIA. Students from both AAIA and other schools attended the dance for a night of food, music, and fun! The photo booth and dancefloor were some of the most popular spots of the night, although the buffet on the second floor was also a hit. Additionally, the dance included special celebrity performers, including Winni, Karencici, Trout Fresh, and RPG. Student performances included a moving ballad from G11 Kimi Cheng and G12 Apro Tsai, as well as an amazing dance performance from G9 Samantha. After all performances, students danced along to classics like Bruno Mars and One Direction.
Special thanks to Mr. Cravak, Mr. Pohlman, Mr. James, Ms. Rich, and Ms. Morris who helped to chaperone the dance, as well as the school staff who kept the event running smoothly. If you missed this year’s dance, stay tuned for a possible second-ever AAIA school dance next academic year!
