2025 Lions Day

The 2025 Lions Day was successfully held on March 27 (Thursday) and March 28 (Friday). Students stepped out of the classroom to experience a variety of cultural activities, creating lasting memories during their school life, fostering peer interaction and relationships, and enhancing their life skills and independence.

On the first day, the G6 Lions visited the Fazhi Primary School in Ren’ai Township, Nantou County, where students learned in a natural environment surrounded by mountains. They were warmly welcomed by the school, which is primarily made up of the Bunun tribe. The school prepared delicious tribal food and cultural experience activities, such as pounding glutinous rice, traditional archery, and handmade crafts. The Fazhi Primary School’s baseball team also led the students in a baseball activity.

Meanwhile, the G7-12 Lions visited the Wugu Cultural Village, where they experienced a ceramic painting class and created their own handmade crafts. To strengthen students’ environmental awareness, a beach cleanup activity was arranged at Wenliao Fishing Harbor. During this activity, students witnessed the human-caused damage to the natural environment and worked together to clean up the litter on the beach, contributing to the protection of nature.

On the second day, the G6 students joined the rest of the group and headed to Janfusun Fancyworld. The students had a fun time enjoying the amusement park, experiencing a variety of rides, and sharing joyful moments together. The 2025 Lions Day came to a close in this cheerful atmosphere. We are pleased to see that the Lions demonstrated independence, peer support, and respect for diverse cultures during this outdoor learning experience. A heartfelt thanks to the faculty and staff for their assistance.
