Congratulations: AAIA HS V5 Robotics Team, AAIA Lions, members including G11 Evelyn Tan, Ethan Chen, Yo-Wanye Chen, Kayla Wu, Alton Lin, Kris Wang, G10 Jason Leung, and G8 Christopher Hsu, did very well and placed 22 out of 43 teams at 2024-2025 VEX TAIWAN OPEN V5RC which was held during the winter break.
They also won the Judges Award. According to the criteria for the Judges Award, our team displayed special attributes, exemplary effort, and perseverance, which stood out to Judge volunteers as deserving of special recognition. Lions also demonstrated effective communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a student-centered ethos.
All outstanding achievements should be attributed to the students’ relentless efforts and the success earned through repeated after-class practice. Of course, the excellent leadership of the guiding teacher, Ms. Emily McKelvey, is also indispensable.
