While the official Hsinchu Round of the World Scholar’s Cup was unfortunately canceled this year, our dedicated WSC Lions weren’t going to let that stop them from practicing the topics and skills they’ve gained over the course of this year. On Saturday, March 26th, Mr. Trojan worked with Mr. Cravak, Ms. Lee, Ms. Belle Pan, and the WSC students to hold a Mock WSC conference on AAIA’s campus. The students were able to simulate the Scholar’s Debate, Collaborative Writing, and Scholar’s Bowl events. Once the scores were properly calculated, Mr. Trojan kept with the WSC spirit by arranging a host of awards recognizing the students for their excellence in debate, speaking, writing, knowledge of this year’s topics, teamwork, and much more. Our students now feel more prepared and eager than ever to join the next official World Scholar’s Cup next school year!
