At AAIA, we believe in the power of multilingualism and cultural diversity. This past week, we continued our long-standing tradition of celebrating Spanish Language Day!
Established to honor the legacy of the great Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, this event is a highlight of our school year. This year, our High School Spanish I and Spanish II students took the lead, designing and preparing a series of immersive activities for our Middle Schoolers.
Under the guidance of Mr. Mejía and Mr. Bros, it was incredible to see our older students step up as mentors, sharing their passion for Hispanic culture and language with their younger peers.
✨ Highlights of the Day:
•Student-Led Workshops: HS students prepared interactive stations focused on Hispanic traditions and linguistics.
•The Lions Broadcast: Our morning news went international with a special broadcast entirely in Spanish!
•Festive Lunch: The campus was buzzing with energy as students enjoyed delicious nachos and the excitement of breaking piñatas.
Thank you to everyone who made this day a success. It’s through these shared experiences that we foster a truly global community!
