ESTC is a service club that was created back in 2019. It is only open to high school students who are fluent in both Chinese and English.
Goal:
Our goal is to provide underprivileged students in Taiwan with the opportunity to study English by offering them free lessons, resources to learn from. These resources include, English programs (either in person or offline), free worksheets, activity plans, videos, booklets, and many more. We hope that by exposing the students to a comfortable learning environment, we get to make them become passionate about using English in their daily lives.
What We Usually Do:
Every Tuesday, club members work on planning/designing numerous innovative plans, including presentations, booklets, games, that will be provided to the students for free.
Club members also come together to do group discussions regarding the possible fundraiser topics we could try.
We also contact with multiple local schools/cram schools to propose the idea of holding free English programs at their campuses or through online platforms.
