On November 9, eleven highly motivated students flew to Seoul, Korea to participate in the largest international MUN event in Korea, SEOMUN, with 24 international institutions from 7 nations attending. During SEOMUN, students engaged in intense discussion and heated debates on crucial problems that face the global community. Through collaboration and cooperation with other MUN delegates, AAIA delegates were able to receive different perspectives, increase their awareness of current events happening around the world, and establish friendships with elite students across Asia. Over three days of the SEOMUN conference, delegates tackled major issues such as terrorism, global warming, human rights, and regional conflicts and debated on resolutions that addressed these issues with realistic solutions. AAIA delegates enjoyed a sensational experience at SEOMUN. Not only did they experience the great city of Seoul, but also extended their social connections across the continent.
